The Returner was written and co-produced by Allison along with dim star (her partner JT Nero and Drew Lindsay) and was recorded in December 2022 at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, CA. It features Russell’s “Rainbow Coalition” band with special guest appearances from the legendary Wendy & Lisa, Brandi Carlile, Brandy Clark and Hozier.

 Blackbird Presents and the Maui Arts & Cultural Center present a world premiere screening Saturday, June 10 outdoors under the stars in the A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion featuring an in-person introduction by Willie Nelson of the recent filmed concert event at the Hollywood Bowl honoring his 90th birthday.

The album was co-produced with Juan Solorzano, who has played on all of Mancari's records, and was mixed by Carlos de la Garza, the producer of Paramore’s last record. Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves, Demi Lovato) also co-wrote and co-produced one track. The album also features Brittany Howard, Julien Baker and Paramore’s Zac Farro.

Portland, Oregon-based artist Kassi Valazza’s sophomore full-length, Kassi Valazza Knows Nothing, is out now via Fluff & Gravy Records (Margo Cilker, Anna Tivel) in North America and Loose Music (Andrew Combs, Courtney Marie Andrews) in the UK. In celebration of the new record, Valazza is on tour throughout the West Coast now.

Brandi Carlile has released her rendition of “Home” from The Wiz. The new song is the latest studio work from Carlile, whose recent producer projects include Shucked writer Brandy Clark’s new album. The Wiz is also set to make its return to Broadway in 2024 with an entirely reimagined revival. It was adapted into a film in 1978 starring Diana Ross.

The Great Canadian Theatre Company with the County of Carleton Law Association will be presenting Friedrich Dürrenmatt's The Visit from May 31st to June 3rd for the 23rd Annual Lawyer Play Fundraiser. Justice is a common theme in the works of Swiss playwright Dürrenmatt, and so it is fitting that a cast of lawyers and legal professionals will be in the spotlight playing villains, victims and criminals.

Regina Spektor has confirmed a string of July and August shows, kicking off July 28 in Milwaukee at Riverside Theater. Singer-songwriter Abraham Alexander unveils a new song, “Blood Under The Bridge.” The record features an appearance by Mavis Staples in addition to Gary Clark Jr. Alexander co-produced the record alongside Matt Pence (The Breeders, Yuck, Here We Go Magic) and Brad Cook (Nathaniel Rateliff, Kevin Morby, Bon Iver).

O Sun O Moon finds Cockburn again working with his close friend Colin Linden as producer, who doubles on guitar, along with Janice Powers on keyboards and Gary Craig on drums, the album features bassist Viktor Krauss, drummer Chris Brown, accordionist Jeff Taylor, violinist Jenny Scheinman and multi-instrumentalist Jim Hoke.
