North Carolina Theatre has announce the full cast for its first production of the 2022-23 season, Steel Magnolias, by Robert Harling. Directed by Lauren Kennedy, performances run from November 4-November 13 at A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh.

The Skivvies are back at Joe’s Pub for The  Rocky Horror Skivvies Show on October 22, 2022 at 9:30pm.  This is the 4th year the spooky season tradition. A Halloween concert treat that puts their signature stripped-down Skivvies stamp of mash-ups and medleys on the iconic score from the cult classic musical.

There are just two weeks left to experience Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, in a new production by Ruth Stage at The Theater at St. Clements. Directed by Joe Rosario (Flowers for Algernon), this is the first production of the Tennessee Williams play that his estate has allowed to be produced Off-Broadway. This production will close August 14, as scheduled.

A popular stage actor best known for being quirkily funny in musicals (Off-Broadway in March Of The Falsettos, on Broadway in Romance, Romance, The Secret Garden and Gypsy), Fraser reinvents a classic character and turns in a performance that thrills with its gutsy power masked by her character's well-rehearsed elegance.

The original scheduled run of this production, which had been announced for January, 2022, was postponed due to the ongoing health crisis.

Yet, that is exactly what Ruth Stage, Inc., a nonprofit theater company, is doing with an expected portion of its ticket sales from the Off-Broadway run of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.

Off Broadway actor and producer Matt de Rogatis has announced that his non profit theater organization, Ruth Stage, has formed a partnership with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. The two charities have been informally working together since last May on a variety of projects but have only recently finalized a series of fundraising events through early 2022.
