Jonny Phillips and West End Charity Football Club have announced The Big West End Walk a one-off fundraising event for Acting for Others to be held on 10 September.

The writers want so badly for this to be a soberly romantic mix between The Notebook and The Bridges of Madison County via Dear Evan Hansen, but only manage to hit the nails of its coffin. It’s unexciting, unengaging, and as deep as a rivulet. The characters are one-dimensional figurines, including the protagonist, whose only personality trait is her grief and inability to love anyone else but Stephen.

West End musical convention Musical Con is to return in 2023!

The Olivier Award, which had been stolen during October's Musical Con, has been found! The fan convention took place at ExCeL London in October. The event was the first of its kind and brought together 10,000 musical theatre fans for a celebration of musicals.

Partners for The Arts Abroad names Joe Barros as Artistic Director of The London Summer Music Theatre Academy. Conceived in 2018, The London Summer Music Theatre Academy is a rigorous young artist training program founded by producers Vincent Connor and Michael J. Polo. 

Musical Con is the 'West End's first ever musical theatre fan convention', an event designed to connect audiences with their favourite performers, showcase new work and simply have a lot of stagey fun.
