Award-winning Iris Theatre's summer season will present a unique theatrical promenade experience in the middle of Covent Garden. Shakespeare's The Tempest opens this year's enchanting outdoor season followed by Daniel Winder's adaptation of The Three Musketeers - suitable for all the family.

Alexandre Dumas fils' tragic love story, The Lady of the Camellias, is brought to life on the cinema screens by the Bolshoi Ballet on Sunday, February 4 only. The production is a part of the 2017-18 Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema Series, presented by Fathom Events, BY Experience and Pathe Live.

Continuing a six-year tradition, Boston Ballet celebrates New Year's Eve with a special, one-night-only version of Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker. A brass quintet from Boston Ballet Orchestra will kick off the night's festivities with popular holiday tunes and New Year's Eve favorites in a pre-show concert from 6:30 to 6:50 pm.

The production book by Sesame Street veteran Noel MacNeal and music and lyrics by award-winning composer Jim Camacho captures the imagination and spirit of the holiday season, and showcases professional actors and master puppeteers from New York City, as well as some of the area's best young talent. Boston Ballet proudly presents the return of Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker, the cherished family-friendly holiday tradition. Since its world premiere in 2012, Mikko Nissinen's and Robert Perdziola's re-envisioned production has been delighting audiences and critics alike. The Nutcracker opens November 24 at the Boston Opera House with performances through New Year's Eve.

Artistic director Bob Hupp makes his directorial debut as Syracuse Stage opens the 17/18 season with the swashbuckling adventure "The Three Musketeers". This action-packed adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' 1844 classic novel opens Friday, Sept. 22 in the Archbold Theatre at the Syracuse Stage/SU Drama Complex, 820 E. Genesee St. There will be preview performances Wednesday, Sept. 20 and Thursday, Sept. 21.

Artistic Director of Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco Carola Zertuche contributes new choreography in her Company debut. Ian Robertson directs the San Francisco Opera Chorus.
