A prestigious learning institution and a crackerjack impresario make for a great night of cabaret.

A little chat and a little music is just the thing for a Wednesday morning, as the cabaret journalists of Manhattan meet the stars who will bring their gifts to the 54 Below stage this holiday season.

Some of Broadway's best, including Lisa Howard, Melissa Errico, Paulo Szot, David Sabella, and Michael Feinstein himself, flocked to Feinstein's/54 below earlier today to preview their upcoming engagements.

Mark Frangione, the Owner/Chef of the popular restaurant Café Pelican, today announced the launch of an exciting new cabaret series at his award-winning restaurant, located at 612 US-1 in Lake Park (33403).

Next month, FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

THE MELODY LINGERS ON: A GALA TRIBUTE TO THE SONGS OF IRVING BERLIN was a gathering of some of the biggest names in the cabaret world. There’s something a little odd about celebrating the intimate art of cabaret in a Broadway-sized theatre like Rose Hall, but to be honest it was one of the few venues sizable enough to hold all the cabaret fans who came to see this fine collection of talented artists. There were performances from Sandy Stewart, Jeff Harner, Andrea Marcovicci, Eric Yves Garcia, Karen Oberlin, David LaMarr, Natalie Douglas, Stacy Sullivan & Todd Murray, Karen Akers, Steve Ross, Amra-Faye Wright, Klea Blackhurst, Billy Stritch, Aisha de Haas, Christine Andreas, Sidney Myer, Karen Mason, Nicolas King, Mark Nadler, and the Moipai Triplets. In addition to these wonderful performers, we were treated to some of NYC’s best musicians including Ray Marchicka, Steve Doyle, Jon Weber, Bill Charlap, Darnell White, Alex Rybeck, Mark Hummel, Michael Rice, and Tracy Stark.

BIRDLAND will present Amanda Green & Friends “Vaxxed AF!” on Monday, October 4 at 7:00 PM. Tony Award-nominated lyricist/composer and award-winning performer Amanda Green will be joined by some amazing Broadway friends, including Darius de Haas, Ann Harada, Lesli Margherita, Curtis Moore, Natalie Douglas, and Dan Finnerty of The Dan Band.

Multi-awarded cabaret singer Jeff Harnar will make his Feinstein’s at Vitello’s debut with his cabaret act I KNOW THINGS NOW: JEFF HARNAR SINGS SONDHEIM September 30, 2021. Well, Well…Hello, Lee Roy! The York Theatre Company will present Broadway’s Lee Roy Reams in his new solo show _Remembering Jerry Herman*, celebrating his collaboration with the late great musical theater legend. Audiences will hear glorious songs and outrageous stories from shows that include La Cage aux Folles, Hello, Dolly!, and more.

Somewhere in the middle of her show COMIN’ AROUND AGAIN, which opened tonight at 54 Below, Liz Callaway casually mentioned that this year Merrily We Roll Along will celebrate its 40th anniversary. How is it possible that Liz Callaway (Baby, Cats, Miss Saigon, The Three Musketeers, The Look of Love) has been entertaining Broadway audiences for 40 years? Her voice is as fresh and supple as it was all those years ago. She has always had a remarkable instrument, always squarely in the center of the pitch, with perfect diction. She has the ability to belt and still sound like she’s just talking. She has amazing technique that never calls attention to itself. It is a voice you never grow tired of listening to.

On July 31, join Tony nominated Broadway favorite, Liz Callaway, up close and personal for an evening of beloved songs from Broadway (Cats, Baby), pop, and film (Anastasia) with award-winning Alex Rybeck at the piano.

Nicolas King will celebrate his recent album Act One: Celebrating 25 Years of Recordings from Club44 Records with a string of concert dates throughout the summer including New York’s The Green Room 42 on August 5 at 7:00 PM.

Nicolas King has been hard at work, and the work is paying off for him and his fans.
