The Museum of Modern Art revealed their exhibitions and schedule for October today. It includes Sound and Space, Designing Modern Women and various performances and galleries to visit.
The Southampton Historical Museum, under the direction of Executive Director Tom Edmonds with the backup of a committed Board of Trustees and a passionate new group of supporters has become a bustling arts center and become a jewel on the Hamptons cultural landscape. This weekend the Museum hosted its annual Late Summer Cocktail Party on the sprawling lawns of the landmark Rogers Mansion on Meeting House Lane in Southampton. Scroll down for photos from the party!
Beginning September 9, The Museum of Modern Art's Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden will be open free of charge to the general public daily, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., allowing New Yorkers and visitors alike to start their day in one of the city's most beloved outdoor spaces. The public can enter the Sculpture Garden directly through the west gate on West 54 Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues, or through the main lobby entrances on West 53 and West 54 streets. Coffee and beverages will be available for purchase.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced Fasten Your Seatbelts (Part 2): 20th Century Fox (today, August 9-15), a summertime big screen showcase of some of the movie studio's most beloved and unforgettable films. Presented via DCP restorations and beautiful studio library 35mm prints, with a focus on a single artist and their creative contribution to each film, Fasten Your Seatbelts is sure to be a truly rare movie-going event. In the summer of 2010, FSLC presented the first Fasten Your Seatbelts series to coincide with and celebrate 20th Century Fox's 75th Anniversary. The popularity of that series, including screenings of classics like ALL ABOUT EVE, M*A*S*H and ALIEN all but demanded that Film Society and the studio present a 'sequel' at some point.

The Museum of Modern Art'sSummergarden: New Music for New York free concert series returns to The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden for four Sunday evenings beginning July 7, 2013. Summergarden, a tradition since 1971, is part of MoMA's long history of presenting contemporary classical music and jazz. MoMA once again welcomes the collaboration of its programming partners, The Juilliard School and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Members of The New Juilliard Ensemble, under the artistic direction of Joel Sachs, perform on July 7 and 21, offering two distinctive programs of contemporary compositions, all of which are receiving their New York premieres. Jazz at Lincoln Center has selected two up-and-coming jazz groups whose concerts on July 14 (Melissa Aldana Quartet) and July 28 (Aaron Diehl Trio) emphasize original works, each with one New York premiere.
