The little OPERA theatre of ny(LOTNY) presents the New York Premiere of Benjamin Britten's opera in two acts, OWEN WINGRAVE, with libretto by Myfanwy Piper, at GK Arts Center, 29 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY, from May 9-12, 2019, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. Griffin Theatre Company Artistic Director William Massolia today announced the addition of nine new ensemble members: Isa Arciniegas, Larry Baldacci, Peter Byrne, Jermaine Hill, Nicole Laurenzi, Ryan McBride, Rochelle Therrien, Jason VonRohn and Scott Weinstein. Additionally, Griffin is pleased to add six new artistic associates: Will Kiley, Dorothy Milne, Mechelle Moe, Alexander Ridgers, Rachel Sypniewski and Brandon Wardell.

The 3rd Annual Adirondack Film Festival, presented by the Adirondack Theatre Festival has announced its full slate of films and special guests.  This year's lineup includes more than 100 films shown in one weekend (October 18-21) across 6 venues in Downtown Glens Falls.  To open the festival, AFF will feature RADIUM GIRLS – shot in the Glens Falls and Lake George area, this marks the premiere screening for the area. 

Geva Theatre Center's 2018-2019 Fielding Studio Series begins with Fortune, written and directed by Deborah Zoe Laufer. This production comes to Geva from the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY. The production begins performances on October 4 and runs in the Fielding Stage through October 21.

Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, and run on August 3rd, 4th, and 7th-9th. Performances will start at 7:30pm and will include a matinee at 2pm on August 8th. Casting is complete for SUMMER SHORTS 2018, produced by Throughline Artists (J.J. Kandel, Producing Artistic Director) at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director). SUMMER SHORTS 2018 begins on July 20 and runs through September 1. Two series featuring three one-act plays in each will play in rotating repertory Tuesday - Friday at 7:15 PM; Saturday & Sunday at 2:15 PM and 7:15 PM. Please note, there are no matinee performances on Saturday, July 21, Sunday, July 22, or Saturday, July 28.
