Sony Masterworks Broadway will release the World Premiere Recording of Douglas Lyons and Ethan D. Pakchar's latest musical Beau digitally on October 25 and on CD November 15.

On Monday September 16th the new musical Five Points delivered a sold-out concert at Feinsteins/54 Below! 

The 4th Annual Adirondack Film Festival, presented by the Adirondack Theatre Festival has announced its full slate of films and special guests.  This year's lineup includes more than 135 films shown in one weekend (October 17-20) across 6 screens in Downtown Glens Falls.  To open the festival, AFF will feature James Franco's PRETENDERS – shot entirely in Albany and the Capital Reigon.

Composing team Douglas Lyons (Beautiful) and Ethan D. Pakchar's latest musical, Beau, opened on August 3rd at The Adirondack Theatre Festival; now running through August 9th. Directed by Michael Wilson (A Trip to Bountiful) the ATF company stars Matt Rodin and Jeb Brown (Beautiful), featuring Amelia Cormack (Kinky Boots Tour), Marlene Ginader (Once Tour), Olivia Griffin, Max Sangerman (Smokey Joe's Cafe), and Jeremy Sevelovitz (Chasing The Song).

Something great is coming! Producers' Award is given to the shows that represent the best of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, based on artistic merit and commercial potential.

Producing Artistic Director, Chad Rabinovitz, announces Adirondack Theatre Festival's PB&J Cafe: A Dinner Theatre for Kids will present Alice In Wonderland as part of the 2019 line-up. Hamilton's Andy Blankenbuehler, whose choreography is currently seen in FX's Fosse/Verdon and the upcoming film CATS; has joined writers Harrison David Rivers , Ethan D. Pakchar, and Douglas Lyons, as director-choreographer of the new musical: Five Points.

Due to popular demand, Stages Repertory Theatre has extended its showing of Murder for Two! The hilarious musical murder mystery, originally slated to close June 16, will now run through July 28 in Stages' Arena Theatre. Stages originally welcomed the regional premiere of Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair's critically-acclaimed production on April 24.

This June, Hidden Realms, a new immersive experience company based in Los Angeles, presents Ascend: When Myths Fall, Heroes Rise at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Ascend is a fully immersive and interactive experience that aims to make the audience the heroes of their own story.

Tony winner Lena Hall (Hedwig & The Angry Inch, Kinky Boots) will star alongside Wade McCollum (Ernest Shackleton Loves Me, Wicked) in a developmental reading of the new Off Broadway-bound musical, Spun, at Signature Theatre May 20 & 21.
