Drury Lane Theatre opens its 2022/2023 season with the celebrated Tony Award-winning musical Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I. Based on 'Anna and the King of Siam' by Margaret Landon,' with music by Richard Rodgers, and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, The King and I was originally choreographed by Jerome Robbins.

 Transcendence Theatre Company, the award-winning, Sonoma County based theatre company, has been chosen to participate in the annual TEDxSonomaCounty (a local, independently organized event licensed by TED) on Saturday, March 5th, 1pm – 4pm in the Jackson Theater at Sonoma Country Day School.

On December 5th, 2021, The Walt Disney Family Museum celebrated Walt’s birthday with a virtual fundraiser honoring Sir Tim Rice. Proceeds from the event support The Walt Disney Family Museum’s educational programming, including its newest initiative, the At-Promise Youth Animation Academy. The Academy is an intensive animation-focused jobs-training program, with an emphasis on students experiencing economic and social displacement. 

Walt Disney World has just announced the Disney on Broadway concert series lineup. The series is one of the many festivities guests can experience at the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Krystina Alabado is playing Woman 1 in North Carolina Theatre’s SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD. This sung-through show by Jason Robert Brown explores themes of new beginnings and evolutions. Alabado was last seen onstage in Broadway’s MEAN GIRLS, playing Gretchen Wieners.

North Carolina Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for Songs for a New World by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown, directed by Eric Woodall. Songs for a New World is North Carolina Theatre's first production since the COVID-19 pandemic forced a global hiatus on in-person gatherings in March of 2020.
