Shane Peterman, Producing Artistic Director has announced that WaterTower Theatre is continuing our dedication to the development of new Music Theatre works with a workshop of a new musical SAY GOODNIGHT by Steve Dorff, John Bettis, and Rick Hawkins.

Two dazzling specials featuring some of the biggest names in music will bring melodies in December: “A Very Backstreet Christmas” celebrates the holidays with The Backstreet Boys, and “Finding Harmony” is an uplifting story featuring EGOT winner John Legend and David Brown, founder of the Columbus-based Harmony Project in Ohio.

The Lincoln Theatre invites central Ohio to enjoy sultry summer evenings on its newly renovated rooftop patio with live jazz performances from some of Columbus’ hottest talent, sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, and a specially curated wine selection or specialty cocktail.

At Southern Connecticut State University, the Department of Theatre opens the 2021 spring semester with Songs for a New World. The cast of Songs for a New World comprises veteran SCSU actors and newcomers. Behind the scenes, students assist and run in all aspects, such as lighting, costumes, and even filming!

After a successful April launch of the ApART Together Concert Series, CAPA has decided to extend the free, online series to feature nine additional concerts from local artists. 'Tis the season for ABC's immensely popular decorating competition series, “The Great Christmas Light Fight,” which continues to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with celebrity judges—lifestyle expert Carter Oosterhouse and famed interior designer Taniya Nayak. The series returns for its seventh season with back-to-back episodes starting MONDAY, DEC. 2 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), for three consecutive weeks. ABC also announced the pickup of season eight to air in 2020. 

After sitting vacant for more than 30 years, the historic Lincoln Theatre reopened in 2009 after a $13.5 million renovation that preserved its rare, Egyptian Revival design while transforming it into a multi-use, state-of-the-art performing arts and education center. Since then, the Lincoln Theatre has become an incubator for local artists, offering low-cost or no-cost programs designed to educate and support up-and-coming talent in pursuit of their art.
