The Creative Co-Lab, in partnership with The Downtown Urban Arts Festival, is proud to announce casting for the showcase production of sTrapped, a new play by Arelia Johnson & Award-winning playwright Bryan-Keyth Wilson. Wilson is set to direct the piece, which follows seven strangers as they navigate conversations surrounding race, intimacy, trauma, sex, and sexual identity.

Jackson, John David Washington, and Danielle Brooks, opened on Broadway. Stefanie Batten Bland's EMBARQUED: STORIES OF SOIL will premiere at BAM Next Wave 2022. The performances will take place at BAM Fisher Fishman Space (321 Ashland Pl.) Nov 1—5 at 7:30pm. The evening-length piece explores ideas of memory and memorialization through the lens of African ancestral stories          

The Huntington has announced the casting and creative team for the highly anticipated revival of August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, directed by Lili-Anne Brown. Wilson’s masterpiece serves as the inaugural production of the newly renovated Huntington Theatre and runs from October 14 – November 13, 2022.

The Fulton Theatre will present the World/Regional Premiere of FOR COLORED BOYZ on the verge of a nervous breakdown/ when freedom ain’t enuff, a new choreopoem by author and playwright Bryan-Keyth Wilson.
