Bob Dylan's acclaimed The Philosophy of Modern Song will take center stage at 92NY's Unterberg Poetry Center on Monday, July 17 at 7:30 pm when actors André De Shields and Odessa Young visit to read from the book — in which Dylan riffs on 66 songs by other artists.

The 92nd Street Y, New York School of Music, has announced that Tony Winner and Broadway legend Faith Prince will teach a master class in the art form of Cabaret this fall.

The 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center’s 2022/23 Studio Series will present …she was becoming untethered., a world premiere from choreographer Annie Rigney, who was first introduced to 92NY as a finalist in the 2021  Future Dance Festival.

New events at 92NY include Bryan Cranston with Josh Horowitz, Sasha Velour and Chani Nicholas, Alex Edelman and Josh Groban.

McCarter Theatre Center will workshop the musical adaptation of E.L. Konigsburg's beloved novel, From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Fankweiler, telling the story of 11-year-old Claudia Kincaid and her younger brother Jamie, as they hide out at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The Martha Graham Dance Company will present GRAHAM100—The First and The Future, a three-season 100th anniversary celebration of Martha Graham’s work and legacy to begin September 2023 and continue throughout 2026.

The 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center's 2022/23 Mainstage Series concludes with Maleek Washington, bringing his compelling creative voice to 92NY for the first time. Washington, a 2021 New York Live Arts Fresh Track grantee, was also nominated for a Bessie as an “Outstanding Breakout Choreographer” that year.

Boston Baroque is ecstatic to release a live concert recording of the Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 3, No. 1 by Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges. The recording features GRAMMY-nominated concertmaster and soloist Christina Day Martinson in a stunning performance that The Boston Musical Intelligencer remarked, “Christina Day Martinson delivered the three-movement concerto in ideal style, near flawlessly.”

Put on your most comfortable walking shoes and be led by poet Paul Rabinowitz through Fort Tryon Park to see and hear dance, music, and poetry performed on benches, lawns, stairways, pathways, near rock faces, and under trees. The event will take place Saturday, June 3 from 3 to 5 PM (rain date: June 4).

Orpheus' final concert of the 2022/23 Carnegie Hall season features Baranski narrating Beethoven's Egmont and a 125th anniversary celebration of the life of Paul Robeson.

May/June Theater Talks at 92NY will feature Billy Crystal With Bette Midler, Kristin Chenoweth in a Celebration of Peggy Lee and more. 

The Lyrics and Lyricists 2022/23 season will close with California Dreamin’: Jessica Vosk Sings the Songwriters of Laurel Canyon on June 2, 4 and 5, an intimate exploration of the legendary icons of California’s Laurel Canyon in the 1960s and ‘70s.
