The 11th annual New Stages Festival kicked off at Goodman Theatre on October 29. Appearing in repertory alongside FEATHERS AND TEETH is THE MAGIC PLAY by Andrew Hinderaker, a play that fuses magic and reality directed by Halena Kays; and CARLYLE by Thomas Bradshaw, an exploration of right-wing politics in America through the eyes of an African American Republican directed by Benjamin Kamine.
