LAURA PIETROPINTO was the Assistant Director of the Pulitzer Prize-Winning musical Next to Normal on Broadway and recently directed productions in Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan for Michael Greif. Assistant Directing credits include: Bandstand (Developmental Lab), Next to Normal (1st National Tour, Arena Stage, Second Stage, NYMF), A Very Common Procedure (MCC), Satellites (Public), Get What You Need (Atlantic), Kid Simple (SPF). Regional: Avenue Q (Wynn Las Vegas), Landscape of the Body (Williamstown). She is the producer/director of Cutting-Edge Composers, a platform for new musical theatre writers, which has an exclusive spotlight on Concerts and readings include A Lasting Impression, Cutting-Edge Composers, Jennifer Damiano and Adam-Chanler Berat at Joe's Pub, Peter Lerman in Concert, Louis Hobson at Joe's Pub, Eli Bolin 'n' Friends, Buzzed, The Virginia by Peter Lerman, College the Musical, and Broadway Sings for Outreach. She works as a private audition coach for children and adults pursuing theatre, film, and VO.
