GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS and THE CIVILIANS have announced the release of four new albums as the final installment of The Michael Friedman Collection. Adventures in Reality, Canard, Canard, Goose?, In the Footprint: The Battle for the Atlantic Yards, and Mr. Burns, a post-electric play will all be available in digital and streaming formats on Friday, March 24.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center will host live events and Segal Talks, comprised of conversations, readings, workshops, screenings, and book talks with and by New York and global theatre artists this March through June. BEDLAM has announced casting for its 2023 season, which will feature two world premieres: Zuzanna Szadkowski & Deborah Knox’s FALL RIVER FISHING and Talene Monahon’s THE GOOD JOHN PROCTOR. 

Necessary Digression in collaboration with Torn Page and The Martin E. Segal Center for Theatre Research as well as Colgate University will present two English Language premieres of celebrated Argentinian playwright Romina Paula, FAUNA (September 16 - October 1, 2022), translated by April Sweeney & Brenda Werth, directed by April Sweeney, and THE WHOLE OF TIME (October 21 - November 13, 2022), translated by Jean Graham-Jones and directed by Tony Torn.

Mabou Mines and Weathervane Productions, in association with Philip Glass’ Days and Nights Festival, will present a return engagement of their acclaimed revival of Mud/Drowning, two intimate works by legendary playwright and director María Irene Fornés.

JBR Productions, LLC will present three industry readings (by invitation only) of Are You There?, a comedy about love, death, and the supernatural, written and directed by Javier Daulte and starring Josefina Scaro and Ben Becher.

The Fisher Center at Bard will present a bold, gender-reframed, era-transcending vision of Molière’s 1665 tragicomedy Dom Juan, conceived and directed by Ashley Tata, with a new translation from NYU Professor of ​​French Literature  and theater scholar Sylvaine Guyot and Fisher Center Artistic Director Gideon Lester.

Untitled Theater Company No. 61 will be releasing its first ever audio drama podcast, The Resistible Rise of J. R. Brinkley. Originally presented onstage as part of the 2018 Fringe Festival, this is a political satire in a Brechtian mode

Two prolific, award winning artists, Carl Hancock Rux and Mallory Catlett, both former artists in Mabou Mines' Resident Artist Program, embody the company's mission to foster the next generation of experimental theater artists and bring with them a strong vision for the future of Mabou Mines.

The Tank will present  La Pucelle (Joan of Arc). La Pucelle is a multimedia Shakespearean mashup and extended soliloquy of Joan of Arc on the eve of battle, written by John Reed

Niall Cunningham (Socrates, a?oeLife in Piecesa??) and Erin Wilhelmi (To Kill a Mockingbird, A Doll's House Part 2) will star in an industry reading of Trick of the Eye by Dennis Haseley, and directed by Jay Scheib (Bat Out of Hell) on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 at Open Jar Studios (1601 Broadway).
