Tess Romero stars as young Elena Cañero-Reed in the Disney+ coming-of-age comedy series "Diary of a Future President." The series follows 13-year old Cuban-American Elena and her journey to becoming the future president of the United States while navigating the ups-and-downs of middle school.
Romero hails from Brooklyn, NY and got her acting start at a very young age. When she was just five years old, Romero landed a role in “Annie,” and shortly after she landed roles on both the NBC drama “Blindspot” and Comedy Central's “Alternatino.”
In addition to acting, Romero has studied dance and singing since the age of five. She loves the fine arts, spending time with friends and is an avid reader.

On Monday, February 27, 2017, A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, proudly presented the "MY FAVORITE THINGS" Cabaret at the historic Triad Theatre. Talented young singers, ages 7-18, presented songs from their favorite Broadway musicals.
