Sophie Knapp to Star in MADELINE'S CHRISTMAS at Theatre Row; Cast Announced!

KOTA Productions presents Madeline's Christmas, an enchanting musical based on the beloved book series by Ludwig Bemelman. Performances run Dec 8-18 at The Lion Theatre, located at 410 West 42nd Street.

"In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines lived twelve little girls in two straight lines," begins the story of Madeline. This holiday season will be unlike any other for Madeline and her friends who get a holiday adventure beyond their wildest dreams. Madeline's Christmas features book, music and lyrics by Jennifer Kirkeby and Shirley Mier.

Principal cast members include Sophie Knapp (Broadway's Once) as Madeline, Macy Idzakovich as Miss Clavel, Jeff Gorcyca as Harsha/Monsieur Brun and Lisha McKoy as Mrs. Murphy. Zoe Glick will play Madeline at certain performances.

The cast will feature four rotating casts of young actresses playing the 'Twelve Little Girls', including Ayla Schwartz, Miranda Jo DeMott, Jamie Neiberg, Kaylin Hedges, Milena Manocchia, Skylar Dunn, Meaghan Unger, Ally Velours, Hannah Moore, Claire Kuntze, Katie Grgecic, Madeleine Pace, Kayla Lavilette, Eileen Brady, Charlotte Masi, Jayden Declet, Samantha Rascio, Simone Vysnovsky, Maggie Lockwood, Erin Haggerty, Madison Lagares, Victoria Rivard, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Sofia Pellegrino, Catherine Quirico, Theodora Silverman, Isabella Burke, Zoë Latanision, Tess Romero, Elizabeth Bigham, Alexandra Harris, Jolie Wasserman, Danielle Becht, Swayam Bhatia, Brianna Haffenden, Ana-Sofia Rodriguez, Savannah Haffenden, Meaghan Maher, Maya Levitt, Amy Walsh, Giada Blume, Toleeya Napolitano, Raquel Wallace, and Charlotte Wesson.

Directed by Laura Luc (Artistic Director of KOTA Productions), with music direction by David Maglione. The creative team includes scenic design by Rob Lavagno, lighting design by Josh Gordon, costume design by Lucy Luc, sound design and assistant direction by Alex Bird.
