Diversionary Theatre Announces Cast & Creative Team For HEAD OVER HEELS

Diversionary Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for its San Diego-premiere of Head Over Heels, a musical based upon “The Arcadia” by Sir Philip Sidney, with songs by the iconic 80's all-girl rock band, The Go-Go's.

San Diego State University New Musical Initiative Selects IN A SUNSHINE STATE For World Premiere

Out of 163 submissions, the San Diego State University New Musical Initiative has chosen In a Sunshine State as this year's selection. Writers T.C. Lind, Derek Gregor, and Phoebe Kreutz will join with director Stephen Brotebeck, music director Robert Meffe and the SDSU MFA Musical Theatre cohort for a two-year development process and world premiere in the spring of 2024.

World Premiere of POSTCARD AMERICAN TOWN by Lynne Shankel & Crystal Skillman to be Presented by SDSU

The newest production in SDSU’s New Musical Initiative, Postcard American Town will have its world premiere from April 29 – May 5, 2022. Written by Lynne Shankel and Crystal Skillman, this world premiere production will be directed by Professor Stephen Brotebeck, and music directed by Professor Robert Meffe from the School of Theatre, Television, and Film. 

Cotuit Center for the Arts Present the Cape Cod Debut of ST. FRANCIS

Cotuit Center for the Arts present the Cape Cod debut of St. Francis, an original play written by and starring Miranda Jonte and directed by Jason Mellin. St. Francis opens in the Vivian and Morton Sigel Black Box Theater on May 5, 2022 and runs through May 22, 2022, Thursdays–Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.
