The New York City premiere of “THE BOX” by playwright Renee' Flemings, starring Matt Corry, Prentice Myles, Sean Phillips​, will take place on Thursday, June 8th @ 6:30pm at the Chain Thearer.

Florida Studio Theatre has announced the extension of its Regional Premiere production of Network, a fast-paced play based on the Academy Award-winning screenplay by Paddy Chayefsky. Adapted for the stage by Lee Hall, Network follows the downward spiral of Howard Beale, a longtime news anchor who is being let go due to poor ratings.

Due to a cast change, 'Hedda Gabler' must postpone its opening by one week. The production now begins September 29, runs through October 9. Sean Phillips takes over role of Eilert Lovborg.

Voices Inside in collaboration with Nylon Fusion Theatre Company and Pen America present Sentenced To A Life Without Music, an evening of one-act plays by incarcerated writers. This special limited engagement will be presented at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd St, New York, NY 10009), September 21-25. 

Casting has been announced for the 11th annual 48Hours in…Harlem”. Theater Breaking Through Barriers has announced its third  Playmakers ' REDUX  entitled  Out of the Box  which will be presented live and in person at  Theatre Row’s Studio Theatre  from  May 19 – 22, 2022.

The festival will be presented on Governors Island multiple times each day from 11:30 am-4:30 pm. The festival will perform at various places across the island, using the local environments and sounds of the park.

Founding Artistic Director Akia Squitieri announced today that Rising Sun Performance Company will be presenting a rotation of children’s plays to be performed in person outdoors on Governors Island for two days August 21st & 22nd.
