Hot Dish!, the comedy cooking and interview show, returns to The Den Theater on April 16, 2023. Chicago comedians Lauren Hooberman, Colleen Brennan, and Amy Sumpter, welcome Patti Vasquez, a Chicago comedian, writer, actor, talk show host, consultant, advocate, and policy advisor. 

Hot Dish!, the comedy cooking and interview show, is coming to The Den Theater on March 19, 2023. Chicago comedians Lauren Hooberman, Colleen Brennan, and Amy Sumpter, welcome Jill Hopkins, a Chicago broadcaster, host of the WBEZ Making Beyonce podcast, DJ, writer, musician, storyteller and the Media and Civic Events Producer at the Metro. 

James Beard Award-winning Chef Rick Bayless and Windy City Playhouse Artistic Director Amy Rubenstein today announced that their hit immersive production, “A Recipe For Disaster,” must close Sunday, April 24 on the Club Level at Petterino's (150 N Dearborn). “A Recipe For Disaster” is written by Bayless, Rubenstein and Windy City Playhouse Associate Artistic Director Carl Menninger and directed by Jeff Award Winner David H. Bell.

 Windy City Playhouse's critically hailed of immersive staging of Michael Frayn's "Noises Off," the side-splitting play-within-a-play, will complete its run on Sunday, May 16 at the Playhouse's Flagship location, 3014 W. Irving Park Rd.

Windy City Playhouse brings the premiere of Michael Frayn's "Noises Off," the side-splitting play-within-a-play set behind-the-scenes as a ragtag touring company rehearses and performs - or attempts to perform - a bawdy farce. Opening Wednesday, January 16, 2019, this comedic classic will be told through a unique multi-stage layout that puts audiences in the center of the action.

Windy City Playhouse today announced that the theater's smash hit "Southern Gothic," the recipient of six Jeff Award nominations, will be moving to a new satellite performance space in the South Loop's Motor Row for an open-ended run with shows beginning January 2, 2019, running simultaneously with the Playhouse's production of the comedic classic "Noises Off" at the theater's Irving Park location. The 2020 programming will bring the recent New York smash-hits "Boys in the Band" and "Every Brilliant Thing" to the Playhouse, each produced in the signature style which brings the audience up close to the action of the play.
