Final Performers Announced For Tomorrow's #SAFESPACE with Host Scott Duff Image

Random Acts has announced the final lineup of artists for #SafeSpace on Thursday, May 31st at 8pm. The Pay-What-You-Can fundraiser for The Night Ministry, hosted by Scott Duff, will be held at Mrs. Murphy and Son's Irish Bistro (3905 N. Lincoln).

In addition to Duff, the evening will feature comedy by Whitney Chitwood and Carly Ballerini, drag by Angelica Grace and Pastry Kream, music by Yasir Muhammad and Last Night on Earth, plus performances from McKenzie Graham-Howard, Rae Hamilton-Vargo, Kenneth Coleman, Chris Thoren, Eileen Tull & Kirstyn Yvette.

For each $5 donated, patrons will be entered into a raffle for a prize basket. Food and drinks can be purchased from Mrs. Murphy's throughout the event.

ABOUT Scott Duff
Scott Duff is a Chicago-based actor, comic, and radio host. A graduate of Northwestern University, he is an Artistic Associate of About Face Theatre, having appeared in over 15 AFT productions, and has performed all over Chicago including work with the Goodman, Steppenwolf, Theater Wit, Lookingglass, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, iO, and American Theatre Company. Mr. Duff is the host/producer of OUT CHICAGO, a live weekly talk show for the LGBT community airing Sundays on WCPT, Chicago's Progressive Talk AM & FM.

ABOUT #SAFESPACE
#SafeSpace is Random Acts' ongoing variety series benefitting a new organization each month. Previous events have featured the work of 31 artists while raising funds for Planned Parenthood and Trans Lifeline.

Since March 2015, Random Acts has presented 11 productions (including four world premieres, one US premiere and one Chicago premiere) through which the company featured the work of 101 actors, 13 writers, 7 directors and 17 designers while performing at 9 venues including 4 theatres, 2 bars, an empty storefront, a cafe, and a gymnasium.
