LOBBY HERO Comes to Rover Dramawerks in June


Rover Dramawerks continues their 23rd Season with the drama Lobby Hero by Kenneth Lonergan. Performances will be at the Cox Playhouse, 1517 H Avenue in Plano, running June 8-24 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

A LIGHT IN DARK PLACES Returns To The Bath House Cultural Center, Beginning April 7


A Light in Dark Places (ALIDP)  makes its return to the Bath House Cultural Center. ALIDP presents five short-plays working together to break down the stigma surrounding the topic of suicide, using a mix of comedy and drama, to encourage healthy discussion, create community, and offer hope to those affected. Performances will be followed by a Q&A, featuring members of the ALIDP team and mental health professionals, and a reception. 

Secret Theatre Presents Stephen Sondheim's ASSASSINS


Assassins tells a story of nine individuals who succeeded or attempted to assassinate the President of the United States of their time. This musical mixes humor and drama to tell a story about people who are trying to understand themselves in all different parts of life. Director Lauren Shields puts a contemporary view on this 2004 Tony award winning musical. Assassins is a mix of history and fiction that will get the audience to talking & start questioning their own views. Come see Stephen Sondheim's Assassins at The Secret Theatre!

Tickets have officially gone on sale for Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical masterpiece ASSASSINS, opening May 2nd at Long Island City's Secret Theatre. The production will be directed by Lauren Shields.

Film actor Tim Realbuto* has been tapped to play John Hinckley, the man whose obsession with a young Jodie Foster made him attempt to assassinate President Ronald Reagan, in Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical masterpiece ASSASSINS, opening May 2nd at Long Island City's Secret Theatre. The production will be directed by Lauren Shields.

Pioneer Productions is kicking off its 2019 season with a double feature, two Shows on two consecutive weekends. First up today February 9th is In These Shoes a gala evening featuring local performers to benefit the company's programs. The following weekend brings Pioneer's first main stage production of 2019, Nora & Delia Ephron's Love, Loss & What I Wore which runs February 15-17th.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents a cumulative performance from the "Bridging the Gap" master class. "Bridging the Gap" is a four-week course, taught by acclaimed cabaret performer Ari Axelrod and music directed by David Aaron Brown.
