KOTA Productions' Lyrics for Life will play Symphony Space on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 7:00 pm.

Aspiring young actors gather at a deserted NYC theater during the decade's worst blizzard for their chance to audition for a reportedly Broadway­-bound musical. Stranded and awaiting the delayed Director, their fears, fantasies and futures are revealed, turning the dog­-eat­-dog young competitors into an unlikely band of brothers and sisters, aka the theater community.

The World Premiere musical, Dance Divas Nutcracker, is running through December 17th at Theatre Row on 42nd Street. Dance Divas Nutcracker is based on the New York Times best-selling author Sheryl Berk's popular book series, Dance Divas, the musical follows a group of passionate young dancers in pursuit of their dreams.

Elliana Walmsley ('Dance Moms') stars in the World Premiere musical, Dance Divas Nutcracker, tonight, December 13th, through December 17th at Theatre Row on 42nd Street.

Singer, actress and dancer Clara Young (The Grinch, Oscar-nominated short My Life as a Zucchini, Annie) also known for her singing duets with younger sister, Violet Young, will be playing the older sister Scarlett, to Gracie, played by Elliana Walmsley ('Dance Moms') in the World Premiere musical, Dance Divas Nutcracker, running December 13th-17th at Theatre Row on 42nd Street.

Lyrics for Life has released a recording and music video to Pasek & Paul's You Will Be Found in honor of National Suicide Prevention Week. The video features 140 performers from Broadway, National Tours, TV, Film, singer/songwriters and award-winning dancers, all under the age of 25.

Little by Little, a nonprofit organization comprised of young performers from Broadway, TV and Dance communities is thrilled to have Miss Southeast Georgia Alyssa Beasley host De Novo on March 24th at the New York Creative Cultural Center, 7:30 p.m., in a benefit concert for Kevin TOKYO Inouye, a well-known dance choreographer who lost his home in a fire earlier this year. Mackenzie Ziegler ('Dance Moms') and Casey Simpson (Nickelodeon's 'Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn') hosted Lyrics For Life on Sat, Sept 10, 2016 at Symphony Space. Held on World Suicide Prevention Day, the event aims to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health. Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the nation's largest non-profit dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.

Thommie Retter, (Billy Elliot) and Retter Entertainment provide unique opportunities for aspiring young performers through This Way To Broadway, Live, a series of workshops culminating in showcase opportunities, including singing, acting, and dancing. The coming event Showbiz Kids, will take place at The Actors Temple located at 339 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036. The show will bring together performers with a wealth of Broadway experience, and many others who aspire to reach the same heights. With help from directors Becca Retter & Thommie Retter, writer and director Anthony Giunta (Contest The Movie, Skin In The Game), Sean Patrick Francis, Ann Cooly, music director Rick Hip-Flores (Fun home), L.A.-based music producer Brandon Jarrett and Broadway veteran vocal coaches Bob Marks, Sara Shikowitz, Trapper Felides and Amy Hanratty, fun and excitement will be had on and off the stage!
