Pamela Yasutake (Performer - Choreographer - Instructor) is making her Broadway debut in the cast of "Shuffle Along" directed by George C. Wolfe and choreographed by Savion Glover. The highly anticipated musical opens this Spring 2016 at the Music Box Theatre.Originally from Seattle, WA and now residing in New York City, Pamela was seen on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance with Chloe Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies and performed sold-out concerts in New York City, Washington, DC and Dubai. Some of her other credits include performing with Emmy-Award Winner Jason Samuels Smith and his company Anybody Can Get It (A.C.G.I.) at Davidson College in North Carolina, performing and choreographing for Seattle Theatre Group’s production of “Dance This…”, eight seasons of the Black Nativity Play of Seattle in which she performed the lead dancer role of Mary for two consecutive seasons, and performing at various tap festivals across the country alongside legendary masters of Tap.

Earlier today, Actors' Equity Association presented Shuffle Along Or The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed with the tenth annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.
