BWW Review: THE PIRATES at Daehangno Dream Art Center Hall 2, 'All Aboard!'
Pirates have always been a common type of villain in various different cultural contents. Starting from the infamous pirate that haunted young children, Captain Hook from Peter Pan to the most iconic pirate of all, Jack Sparrow from the hit movie series, Pirates of the Caribbean, pirates have been portrayed in a certain way with adjectives such as 'vicious' or 'greedy.' However THE PIRATES the musical introduces the audience to think of pirates with adjectives such as 'loving' or 'honest.' Having its first production ever, THE PIRATES had its departure of the darkness on March 10th, announcing the beginning of a new voyage.

BWW Review: Theater RED's Enthralling BONNY ANNE BONNY Rules the High Seas in World Premiere
In an on-stage adventure that will thrill any secret buccaneer, Theater RED world premieres Bonny Anne Bonny in collaboration with the Department of Theatre at Milwaukee's Wisconsin Lutheran College's (WLC). Set in the WLC Performing Arts Center's Raabe Theatre, WLC students along with Director Christopher Elst steer Liz Shipe's swashbuckling tale into one very enthralling version of 18th century Irish pirate Anne Bonny's life. Theater RED's world premiere production takes the audience's breath away when the cast ascends swaying ladders, swings on ropes across the stage and flashes their sword play while these men and women 'pirates' cast about for a new ship to find plundered treasures.

Letter of Marque Theater Company to Present DOUBLE FALSEHOOD
Letter of Marque Theater Company, the young ensemble theater company known for staging the President's Execution of Edward Snowden, an ongoing series of underground performance parties, and offering all of its work at little or no cost to their audiences, is presenting DOUBLE FALSEHOOD, directed by Andrew Borthwick-Leslie. First published in 1727 by Lewis Theobald, new research indicates that DOUBLE FALSEHOOD, might have actually been written by William Shakespeare and John Fletcher. DOUBLE FALSEHOOD will play a five week limited engagement from Saturday, March 5th through Saturday, April 9th, 2016 at The Irondale Center (85 S. Oxford St. Brooklyn, NY 11217). Opening Night is Saturday, March 12th at 7:30 p.m.
Musical Web Series THE HINTERLANDS Nominated for Four IAWTV Awards; Ceremony Set for Tonight
THE HINTERLANDS, a free online musical web series about a bullied gay teen, was nominated for four International Academy of Web Television (IAWTV) Awards, including 'Best Dramatic Series.' Connor Russell (Disney's Aladdin world premiere), star of THE HINTERLANDS, was nominated for 'Best Male Performance in a Drama.' Danny Larsen and Michelle Elliott, the co-creators of the show, were nominated for 'Best Writing (Drama).' Mr. Larsen was also nominated for 'Best Cinematography.' The IAWTV Awards recognize the best in original online programming and honor the content creators driving today's rapidly evolving digital entertainment industry. The 2014 IAWTV Awards will take place tonight, January 7, 2014 in Las Vegas.
