There are some cabaret shows that you never want to end and you would stay in your seat for the 2nd (or if there was), third show. Clint Holmes, was introduced by Broadway at Birdland host Jim Caruso last night as one of the best vocalists in the world and Clint's performance on the stage of Birdland, before a star studded audience of music lovers demonstrated how true that intro was.

Now, New York will experience Vitaly Beckmanas he makes his New York City performing debut with VITALY: An Evening of Wonders. Produced by Daryl Roth, the show will play the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street, between Ninth and Tenth Avenues), for a strictly limited engagement through Sunday, September 30, 2018.

ZERO HOUR, Jim Brochu's acclaimed play about the life of theatre legend Zero Mostel, returns to its original home, opened last night, Wednesday June 14th, at the Theatre at Saint Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) for a limited engagement through July 9th only. The performance was followed by a gala celebration at Sardi's with guests including Sondra Lee, Tony Sheldon, Charles Busch, Howard McGillin, Donna McKechnie, Lee Roy Reams, Billy Stritch, Jim Caruso, David Staller, Lynn Sher (ABC News), Jeanne Lehman, Kurt Peterson, Blake Zolfo, and more. On the day he departs to Iraq for his first combat deployment, a soldier discovers his grandfather's life during World War II in a forgotten box of letters, in L.S. Goldberg's Yesterday Iran/Today Iraq. Based on actual World War II letters and conversations with Iraq War veterans, Yesterday Iran/Today Iraq will be performed at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre at 312 West 36th Street, 1st floor, on Wednesday, July 24th at 9:30pm, Thursday, July 25th at 6pm, and Friday, July 26th at 7:30pm. Members of the press are cordially invited to attend any performance.

On Friday, May 31, Tony nominated writer Nell Benjamin and legendary deep-sea explorer Sylvia Earle - one of the first women admitted to the real Explorers Club in New York - will engage in a conversation to talk about their experiences in their respective fields, following the 8 PM performance of Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere production of THE EXPLORERS CLUB, a madcap comedy now in previews at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). The conversation will be moderated by Peabody Award-winning journalist and author Lynn Sherr.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival has a special quilt on display for the Block by Block: Stories of Common Threads exhibit at the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum, which will run until December 31. The quilt was created by the Festival's first costume designer from the Festival's inaugural season in 1962.
