Following HalfPint at Night, SigSpace will feature, on November 13 from 5:30-6:30pm, a concert response to Quiara Alegría Hudes’ memoir My Broken Language from Bushwick Book Club—the theatrical adaptation of which is currently being performed in the Signature Center’s Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre (through November 27).

New York Stage and Film announced today that Artistic Director Chris Burney will be leaving at the end of his contract in December 2022 to pursue new, professional opportunities in education and commercial theatre. Normal Ave last produced in-person content-Indoor Person by Kayla Martine-in March 2020, shortly before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Normal Ave also produced several virtual developmental labs and readings in 2020 as part of its QuaranStream series.

New York Stage and Film begins its summer season in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, July 9 and will run for five weeks to Sunday, August 7 for in-person programming that will support more than 35 new stories for theater, film and television.
