Modesto, CA’s influential indie-rock group Grandaddy have announced a special digital release of the Sumday: Excess Baggage, a thirteen-track collection of rarities and b-sides from the Sumday-era that unfolds like a lost Grandaddy album. The band has also unveiled lead single “The Town where I’m Livin Now” alongside an official video.

Trailblazing comedy ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo started out in 1974 as a downtown New York drag act in the wake of the Stonewall Riots. Nearly 50 years on, The Trocks are known and loved worldwide for their hilarious parodies of the conventions of classical ballet.

The lineup consists of Austin D’Amond (drums), Wayne Miller (guitars), Kevin Garcia (guitars) and David Culbert (bass guitar). Now joined by Rudy Flores (vocals). The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Department of Theatre + Dance, Kennedy Theatre, and Kumu Kahua Theatre invite the public to a panel discussion on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 6:30pm that features local award-winning playwright Lee Cataluna and the directors from Kumu Kahua Theatre and UHM Kennedy Theatre who are currently presenting her plays on the virtual stage.

Two theatres will come together with one playwright to discuss their connected work.
