On Monday, November 29, Robbie Rozelle made his Birdland debut with “The Next One,” a carefully curated evening of chaos celebrating his 45th birthday. “The Next One” was created for every person who has ever told the comedian “I can’t make it, but I’ll be at the next one.” Musical direction and arrangements by Yasuhiko Fukuoka, with Wes Bourland on bass, Mike Lunroe on drums, Johnny Wise on violin, Samuel Quiggins on cello, and David Ashton on reeds. 

Jonathan Reid Gealt to Release New Album ARCHETYPE

Jonathan Reid Gealt, New York City based composer, is set for the worldwide release his highly anticipated new studio album ARCHETYPE on Friday December 3rd, 2021. ARCHETYPE marks Gealt’s 4th studio album, following “Whatever I Want It To Be” (2015), “Here For You: Ballads For Broadway Impact” (2013), and “Thirteen Stories Down” (2010).

Just last month, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented songwriter Jonathan Reid Gealt, who celebrated the release of his new cd, 'Whatever I Want It To Be,' with a concert at the historic music room starring a bevy of Broadway stars. The cast included vocalists Jane Monheit, Loren Allred, Whitney Bashor, and Addi McDaniel and Michael Deleget. Check out highlights from the concert below.

Songwriter Jonathan Reid Gealt just released his third studio album, 'Whatever I Want It To Be'- a fun and eclectic album of songs with influences ranging from jazz to big band, soul to pop, rock and roll to singer/songwriter, Motown and beyond. The album is currently available on iTunes and we've got an exclusive track. Below, check out 'Mean to You', featuring SCHOOL OF ROCK's Alex Brightman!

The cover will be available on iTunes beginning Nov. 4.
