On Monday night, January 20, 2014 BroadwayWorld.com kicked off our 10th anniversary celebration with a benefit for BC/EFA entitled BroadwayWorld.com Visits Oz. In celebration of Michael Urie's birthday, we bring you a special clip of his performance. A longtime friend to BroadwayWorld.com, during his sold-out run of BUYER & CELLAR, he made time to come to JOE'S PUB to be part of our 10th Anniversary. At the event, he performed a special piece, written by BUYER & CELLAR Playwright's Jonathan Tolins, entitled MY PASSION FOR OZ.

Broadway is abuzz with news about NBC's upcoming presentation of The Wiz, with Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige and original Dorothy Stephanie Mills all having just signed on to star. They aren't the only ones with love for The Wiz though. ReGroup Theatre Company's production of Preston Jones's THE LAST MEETING OF THE KNIGHTS OF THE WHITE MAGNOLIA played it's first preview last night, and officially opens tonight, Aug 8th, 2014, at the renovated McAlpin Hall, 165 W 86th St, N/E corner of Amsterdam.

Preston Jones's Lu Ann Hampton Laverty Oberlander,The Last Meeting of the White Magnolia, and The Oldest Living Graduate will get a rare New York revival this August.

Saturday night, May 3rd, after Kristin Chenoweth wowed 'em at Carnegie Hall, the star's family, friends and guests were invited to a very intimate party at New York's Palace Hotel. The famed property threw Ms. Chenoweth the congratulatory party with the Palace Hotel's Timothy Kirkpatrick, Bebhinn Gallen, Lauren Rebholz and friend Angelique O'Neil, who worked tirelessly to make her special night even more special.

Monday night, for two astonishing SOLD OUT performances, Joe's Pub became the backdrop for BroadwayWorld.com's 10th Anniversary celebration. The show conceived by Robert Diamond and Richard Jay-Alexander boasted talent from Broadway and beyond.

As rehearsals and plans are in full swing, for Monday night's sold out performances at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater of BROADWAYWORLD.COM VISITS OZ, Robert Diamond and BWW staffers want to do some 'shout outs'.

It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.

The Muny presents John O'Hurley in the first show of its fantastic 95th Season, Monty Python's Spamalot, directed and choreographed by Denis Jones. The show opened last night, June 17, and you can check out photos from the show and after party below!
