Hope Johansen

Hope Johansen is a Chicago-born, NYC-based actor, musician, director, and model. She’s toured as a soloist with symphony orchestras across the Chicagoland area and performed at venues like Birdland Jazz Club, Carnegie Hall, and 54 Below. Hope is the co-host of The Cinema Chicks Podcast, reviewing new movies every episode. She is also passionate about developing new theatrical works with emerging playwrights. Favorite theatrical credits include the Ars Nova-developed comedy special Straight Icons (The Spiral, Center at West Park), Sharon & Melina (David Bowie, The Tank), and American Idiot (Heather, MMC). Film: Buried Secrets (Jade, Full Moon Features). Hope is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College’s BFA Acting, Directing, and Cinema, Television & Emerging Media programs.
