Garrett Taylor BIO

Garrett Taylor is a multifaceted performer, pianist, orchestrator, and conductor. He has worked with symphonies in the US and in Europe, concerts at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and on many recordings. When residing in New York City, he operates a busy voice studio with many Broadway performers and promising singers. He has worked at NYU, Manhattan School of Music, Marymount, Queens College, and AMDA. Over the years, Garrett has been lucky to be involved with such Broadway shows as Wicked and the revival of Annie as well as the national tours of Irving Berlin?s White Christmas, Disney?s Beauty and the Beast, and Grease among many others. Most recently he was appointed resident music director at the historic Cape Playhouse in Dennis, Massachusetts.

Cast Revealed For STRAPPED at The Downtown Urban Arts Festival


The Creative Co-Lab, in partnership with The Downtown Urban Arts Festival, is proud to announce casting for the showcase production of sTrapped, a new play by Arelia Johnson & Award-winning playwright Bryan-Keyth Wilson. Wilson is set to direct the piece, which follows seven strangers as they navigate conversations surrounding race, intimacy, trauma, sex, and sexual identity.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents the incomparable current staff of Joe Allen restaurant in The Ones That Got Away: A Joe Allen Tribute on Monday, February 3. In May, 1965, Joe Allen opened the restaurant that bears his name. That same year, the cast of the ill-fated show Kelly gave Joe a poster of their show. It ran one performance, and they thought it should hang, well, somewhere. Since then, it's become a Broadway tradition for those unlucky flops to adorn the restaurant's walls. Directed and produced by Nick Flatto, The Ones That Got Away is a Valentine's Day tribute to those forgotten flops as we remember the lost love songs of Broadway's past.
