Today, New 42 announced the in-person return of their annual gala, celebrating the power of the performing arts and arts education. The Find Your Light Gala will return to the  Plaza Hotel on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 7pm.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company‚Äôs gala,¬†A MAMMOTH RENAISSANCE, was a night to remember, as more than 350 attendees at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library joined in honoring social activist, political strategist, philanthropist, and modern ‚ÄúRenaissance man‚Ä̬†Luis A. Miranda, Jr. More than $565,000 ‚ÄĒ the most in Woolly‚Äôs history ‚ÄĒ was raised to support its work towards a radically inclusive theatre industry.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts announced today that Jason Robert Brown, Savion Glover, Priscilla López, Susan Stroman, Marisha Wallace, and Christopher Wheeldon have joined the growing list of Broadway stars participating in I'm Still Here: A Virtual Benefit for the Billy Rose Theatre Division, airing June 23, 2021 on Broadway On Demand at 8pm EST and 8pm PST. The fundraiser will help raise critical funds for the Library for the Performing Arts' beloved Theatre Division as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.

Rowling in absentia with the New Victory Arts Award and host a benefit performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at The Lyric Theatre. The event, which included a strolling supper at The New Victory Theater, provides critical support to the nonprofit's award-winning arts education and youth employment programs. Guests included Steve Martin, Julianna Margulies, Michael Greif, Bethany Frankel, Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, Chairman of the Board of The New 42nd Street Fiona Rudin, and President of The New 42nd Street Cora Cahan.
