New York Stage and Film has announced that its annual Winter Gala will feature remarks by Annette Bening, Josh Groban, Michael Mayer, and Heidi Schreck; and will feature performances by Brittain Ashford, Cosmo Castaldi, Daya Curley, Sofia Dobrushin, John Gallagher Jr., Jonathan Groff, Marcy Harriell, Van Hughes, Taylor Symone Jackson, Lea Michele, Nasia Thomas, Ana Villafañe, and Candice Marie Woods.

New York Stage and Film is thrilled to announce that its annual Winter Gala will honor six-time Tony Award-nominated producer and philanthropist Diana DiMenna, and Academy Award and four-time Golden Globe-nominated and Tony Award-winning actor and producer Tom Hulce. The Winter Gala, a fundraising event to support New York Stage and Film's year-round theater and film development initiatives, will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at The Ziegfeld Ballroom (141 West 54th Street, New York City). Freestyle Releasing, Freestyle Digital Media (FDM) and Dominion Pictures announced today that they have acquired theatrical and all DVD/VOD rights to MR. PIP, a film from Andrew Adamson (CHRONICLES OF NARNIA, SHREK) based on the best-selling novel by Lloyd Jones. The drama brings “House MD” superstar Hugh Laurie to the big screen, alongside up-and-coming sensation Xzannjah Matsi. Executive produced by Tim Coddington, James Dean, Daniel Revers and Timothy White, the film will debut in limited theaters and on all digital platforms on November 7, 2014.

The 13th Annual Monte Cristo Award will be presented to Mr. Plummer by fellow stage and film legend Kevin Spacey. Mr. Spacey was the recipient of the Monte Cristo Award in 2009. Red carpet and cocktails begin at 6:30pm at the Edison Ballroom on West 47th Street, followed by dinner, and a program celebrating the honoree.
