The Phantom of the Opera celebrates its 32nd Anniversary today, January 26, 2020. Last night, January 25, the company celebrated. They posed backstage after the performance and held a pizza party in honor of the big day.

Earlier this year, on April 22, The Phantom of the Opera, reached a milestone that no other Broadway show has even come near. Phantom, the longest-running show in Broadway history, became the first Broadway show EVER to reach #13,000 performances. This is just one of many incredible achievements made by the show since it opened on Broadway over three decades ago.

Once The Music Played, a new film by writer/director J. Niles, has just released an IndieGoGo campaign to partially fund the upcoming film.

The 32nd Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards were held on Monday, June 2 at 7:30pm at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. The winners for the evening were Dormeshia Sumbry Edwards (After Midnight) & Karine Plantadit (AfterMidnight) a tie for Outstanding Female Dancer in a Broadway Show; Jared Grimes (After Midnight) for Outstanding Male Dancer in a Broadway Show; and Warren Carlyle (After Midnight) for Outstanding Choreographer for a Broadway Show. Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc. have confirmed that the third national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA , known as the Music Box Company, will play its final performance on Halloween Night -- Sunday, October 31, 2010 -- at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.

On July 12, the Broadway National Touring company of The Phantom of the Opera will perform a one-night-only cabaret of musical theater songs to benefit Synchronicity's Playmaking for Girls programs. The event will take place at 8 p.m. at the home of Theatrical Outfit, the 200-seat Balzer Theatre at Herren's in downtown Atlanta.
