Colin Michael Carmichael

A Midsummer Night's Dream is Colin Michael Carmichael 's first production with Bristol Old Vic. Mr. Carmichael, who trained at East 15, has since performed in productions of The Exhibitionists, Da Da Music, Say Nothing (Ridiculusmus); Love and Other Fairytales, The Wedding (Scarlet Theatre); in addition to work with Platform 4, Cindy Oswin, and Theatro Vivio. With his own company, called Brian, Mr. Carmichael has co-devised all of the company's shows, including Billy Holiday, Art Factory, Man Band, Bourn outh Ballads, and Supermarket D.J. He also works with Kazuko Hohki as a co-devisor (Kazuko Hohki's Wuthering Heights, Incontinental) and Kirsty Housley (All I Want). Colin has just finished touring Transport Theatre's As You Like It as Touchstone. His film and television credits include Hot Fuzz, St Trinians 2, Burke and Hare, Black Mirror, Coupling, Man Down, and Eastenders. Carmichael will appear in the film version of the musical Wicked as Professor Nikidik, a professor at Shiz University.
