Review: NEAT at Scripps Ranch Theatre And Loud Fridge Theatre Group

“On a clear day,” is the opening and closing of NEAT by Charlene Woodard, as she recounts her coming of age in 1960s and 70s America and her relationship with her disabled aunt. A co-production of the Loud Fridge Theatre Group and Scripps Ranch Theatre, this play is beautifully performed and directed and is playing at Scrips Ranch Theatre through April 16th.

Scripps Ranch Theatre continues their 43rd Season with their production of NEAT written by Charlayne Woodard and directed by Claire Simba, running at their theatre on the campus of Alliant Int’l University.  NEAT is a co-production between Scripps Ranch Theatre and Loud Fridge Theatre Group.

THINKING SHAKESPEARE LOVE! Will Be Performed Outdoors at The Old Globe This Month

These seven talented, hardworking, and resilient graduates have attended online classes for 15 months of a two-year graduate program. Rehearsals begin today in person with Edelstein and will culminate with an onstage performance of Thinking Shakespeare LOVE! in front of a live audience.

BWW Review: THE MANGO TREE at MOXIE Theatre

THE MANGO TREE, streaming from MOXIE Theatre, and a part of the SAY IT LOUD Juneteenth Festival from the San Diego Black Artists Collective is an excellent one-woman show about a river goddess, family, and just how much trouble one mango can get you. The show is available for streaming on June 15th, 18th, and 19th.

The Old Globe Announces Plans for Full Reopening, Season to Feature World Premieres by Michael John LaChiusa & More

The Old Globe today announced plans for the long-awaited full reopening of its three theatres in Balboa Park. Audiences will be able to once again gather in the Globe’s outdoor theatre starting June 4 and in the two indoor theatres in September.
