The Harlem9 Producers have announced the 18 Actors for the 12th Annual “48Hours in…Harlem”.  The OBIE Award-Winning collective is responsible for “48Hours in…Harlem”, “48Hours in…El Bronx”, “48Hours in…Detroit”, “48Hours in…Dallas,” and “48Hours in…Holy Ground”.

Casting Announced For FAMILIAR At The Old Globe

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for Familiar by Tony Award nominee Danai Gurira (Broadway's Eclipsed, Black Panther, "The Walking Dead"). This funny, warmhearted look at tradition, marriage, and what it means to be an American family will be directed by Edward Torres (the Globe's Water by the Spoonful and Native Gardens, Cancion at Repertorio Español) and will run January 26 - March 3, 2019 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage, Old Globe Theatre, Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. SKELETON CREW Opens at TheatreSquared 10/10

The blistering comic drama Skeleton Crew begins performances on October 10 at TheatreSquared, bringing to Northwest Arkansas a new work by one of America's most acclaimed contemporary playwrights. Dominique Morisseau, a Steinberg Playwright Award-winner and two-time NAACP Image Award honoree, is "one of the rising talents in American drama" (NYTimes) and "a rising star" (L.A. Times), described by critics as a modern-day successor to 20th-century giants Arthur Miller, Clifford Odets, and August Wilson. Skeleton Crew is set in Detroit's last exporting auto plant, where sparks fly on the production line-and in the breakroom. As rumors surface about a closing date, new power dynamics emerge. Both contemplative and funny, Small Mouth Sounds is a cleverly conceived and sharp observation of the pursuit of wellness and the achingly human need to connect.  Small Mouth Sounds will preview on March 13 and opens on March 14, 2018.
