Huntington Adds Extra Performance of FALL On June 17

The Huntington Theatre Company has added an extra performance of the world premiere play, Fall, on Sunday, June 17 at 2pm. The play reveals the story of Arthur Miller's secret son with third wife Inge Morath, the decision they made to cut him out of their life, and the impact it had on their relationship. Fall stars Josh Stamberg (TV's 'Parenthood' and 'The Affair') as the iconic American playwright and Joanne Kelly (TV's "The Disappearance," "Warehouse 13," and "Slings and Arrows") as Morath. It is written by Bernard Weinraub (The Accomplices, Above the Fold), and directed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois.

He refused to name names when called before the House Un-American Activities Committee, spoke out agains the Vietnam War, and was an activist in many social causes, allowing him to be seen as the moral conscience of the nation. However, Bernard Weinraub reveals Miller's feet of clay in the world premiere of his play FALL, directed by Peter DuBois at Huntington Theatre Company's Calderwood Pavilion.

In conjunction with its current production of Bernard Weinraub's world premiere play Fall, Huntington Theatre Company will host special events and post-show conversations that shed more light on the details and themes of the play, which tells the story of American playwright Arthur Miller and the son he cut out of his life. Born with Down syndrome, Daniel was institutionalized, and his existence was never acknowledged by his parents. Written by playwright and renowned journalist Bernard Weinraub (The Accomplices, Above the Fold), and directed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois, Fall runs May 18 - June 16, 2018 at the Huntington's Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts.
Irresistible Comedy BAD DATES to Complete Huntington's 2017-2018 Season

The 15th anniversary production of Theresa Rebeck's irresistible comedy Bad Dates will complete the Huntington Theatre Company's 2017-2018 season. Bad Dates will be directed by Huntington favorite Jessica Stone (This season's Ripcord and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Huntington), and the play joins the previously announced seven titles in the 2017-2018 season.

Huntington Theatre Company, Boston's leading professional theatre, announces its 2017-2018 season. The Huntington has long been an anchor cultural institution of Huntington Avenue, the Avenue of the Arts, and will remain so on a permanent basis. The Huntington's upcoming season will include productions in the Huntington Avenue Theatre (known as the BU Theatre through June 30), and plans are underway to convert the theatre into a first-rate, modern venue with expanded services to audiences, artists, and the community. The 36th season will include four plays at the Huntington Avenue Theatre, as well as three plays at the Wimberly Theatre and one special event in the Roberts Studio Theatre, both located in the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA in the South End.
