The 2022 honorees included Edie Falco, the multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winning actress, and stage manager Michael Palmer, who has overseen 20 productions for the Stony Point-based nonprofit professional theatre in Rockland and New York City.

The Jane Elissa Extravaganza: An Intimate Evening with Broadway and Daytime Stars will celebrate its 31st anniversary on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Manhattan's Marriott Marquis Hotel. The event benefits the Jane Elissa Endowment Fund for Leukemia/Lymphoma Research, as well as Cancer research, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, and other charitable causes. The evening is sponsored in part by Bridgehampton National Bank and Manhattan Mini Storage. Celebrities who have attended and/or been honored at past events include Kelly Ripa, Josh Duhamel, Michael Weatherly, Cameron Mathison, Mark Consuelos, Sarah Michelle Geller, Jacklyn Zeman, James Barbour, Mauricio Martinez and Michael J. Fox.
Q. Smith Hosts LEAP Event, 2 NYC Students On To August Wilson Nationals
Q. Smith, featured cast member of Broadway's Come From Away, hosted the 10th annual New York City August Wilson Monologue Competition, sponsored by LEAP (Learning through an Expanded Arts Program, Inc.). Two winning students, first place Teslyne Junior of Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn, and second place Victoria Lino, of Repertory Company High School for Theater Arts in Manhattan, will move on to the National August Wilson Monologue Competition on Broadway in May. Anthony Perez, also from Repertory Company High School, took third place and is the alternate. The presentation was held March 5 on Stage 2 of New World Stages, 340 W. 50th St., New York, N.Y.
