Showstoppers features 36 Patel Conservatory students ages 13-18 and behind-the-scenes, three college technical apprentice interns.

The musical was adapted into an Academy Award winning film in 1965 starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. It is this beloved film version that is firmly and fondly remembered by many. Several songs from the musical have become familiar standards, including 'Edelweiss,' 'My Favorite Things,' 'Climb Every Mountain,' Do-Re-Mi' and the title song. The Sound of Music understandably remains one of America's favorite family musicals.

The song is reminiscent of an 80's pop track, with music theater influence.The video itself is a rocky horroresque short film that shares a tale on acceptance of oneself through the eyes of an experiment put on display.
