VIDEO: Jimmy Nederlander Awards Nominee Adam Ross Releases Original Music Video MEDICINE

 

Singer/Songwriter/Performer Known as Adam Ross (Glickman) recently dropped a music video for an original song titled 'MEDICINE'. The song is reminiscent of an 80's pop track, with music theater influence.The video itself is a rocky horroresque short film that shares a tale on acceptance of oneself through the eyes of an experiment put on display. In the video, Adam as the 'experiment' is in a feud between the doctor and himself. The Doctor as the major influence on Adam acts as G-D, and drains the specimen of all that he knows and loves about himself. The moral comes to the battle between the ideas of influence, and the true acceptance of one's self.

Adam Ross, a singer/songwriter/performer who's art explores humanity from an introspective space. A storyteller, with influences including the likes of Lady Gaga, David Bowie, Keaton Henson. As a songwriter Adam has a Billboard Charting Credit to his name with Ali Fox's Free (Peaked at 24 on the USA Billboard Dance Club Charts). His song Can You Feel Our Pulse, a tribute to the Pulse Tragedy victims and all those affected peaked at 33 on the National Dance Club Radio Charts with remixes created, and #9 on the ZipDJ Charts.

Beginning to make a mark in the music industry, Adam is a proud member of the LGBT and theatrical community; through his music Adam explores the ideas of androgyny, ambiguity, relationships, love, and rebellion. Adam believes in fearless expression, to allow oneself to feel vulnerable in its rawest form, and use that to rise above. He has performed original music in the Gay Pride Parade NYC (w/Real Housewives of NYC and The Rich White Ladies), as well as a backing vocalist sharing the stage with Grammy Award Winner Carlos Alomar. Adam has plans to release an EP in 2018 with all new sounds, and entirely new vision.

Adam has a BFA in Musical Theater from Millikin University, and a semester abroad studying Shakespeare at the Globe Theater. He can also be heard on the Show Choir the Musical Soundtrack starring Broadway's Christiane Knoll, and Kevin Duda as "Rajiv". He has been seen as an actor across several regional venues in the USA, as well as a performer throughout the Mediterranean and the Baltic Seas. He is a 2010 Jimmy Nederlander Awards Nominee Representing his home state of Florida under his surname Adam Glickman.

He now goes by his full name Adam Ross Glickman for other performance related work.
