The Two-Character Play at BLIXT Arts Lab

Clare(Nat Kroll) is an actress in a struggling theatre company alongside her brother Felice(Travis Roh), who serves as the company’s lead actor, manager, and writer. On the evening of a scheduled performance, Felice and Clare discover that the rest of the acting company and stagehands have abandoned them. With an audience waiting and only two actors present, they decide to perform the aptly titled The Two-Character Play. As the evening unfolds, the boundaries between performance and reality begin to dissolve. What starts as a play becomes something far more intimate and unsettling, leaving both the actors and the audience to question whether Felice and Clare are performing a script, or reliving unresolved trauma from a past domestic tragedy.
