The Joffrey Concert Group, NYC, announces the return of ICONS Dance Festival, a celebration of dance that features the Joffrey Concert Group, Limon2, and GHDos in performance. The Joffrey Concert Group will appear in artistic director Bradley Shelver's "And The Things That Remain," which he dedicates to the legacy of Judith Jamison, and the new "Of Light," with choreography and text by Ken Ossola. Limon2 will perform excerpts from two Limon works: "The Unsung" and "Waldstein Sonata". BHDos (Ballet Hispanico 2) will perform an excerpt from Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's "Nube Blanco." Performances are April 4 at 7:30 PM & April 5 at 3:30 PM & 7:30 PM. Saturday, April 5, will also see Master Classes open to dancers ages 14 to 25. Bradley Shelver will teach class from 10 to 11:20 AM; Dante Puleio, artistic director of Limon, will teach from 11:25 AM to 12:40 PM; and Rodney Hamilton, Associate Director of the School of Dance at Ballet Hispanico, will teach from 12:45 to 2 PM. Classes are $15 each.
