Therapy Sessions presents: a new pop cabaret exploring the beauty of sensitivity.
Megan Troost is back with her second solo show, after a successful debut in 2022 with her first show, Words of Affirmation. In this new one-hour pop music cabaret, Sensitive: The Art of Feeling Too Much, celebrates the unique experience of feeling deeply in a world that encourages minimizing our emotions. Featuring the music of today's popstars, including Chappell Roan, Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, and more, Sensitive invites audiences to dive into a space where vulnerability and emotions are embraced, in this joyful and reflective performance.
Troost is joined by her band, The Teardrops, featuring Nick Sienkiewicz as music director and pianist, Simeon W. Brown on guitar, Julie Rozansky on bass, and Austin Deyo on drums. Cara Palombo will also be featured, along with video artistry by Carly Anderson Angott.
Sensitive will be premiering on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 7:00PM EST at The Rat NYC, located at 68-117 Jay St, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Tickets are on sale now for $20, and $15 for livestream tickets. Use promo code TOOSENSITIVE for $5 off.
