Playhouse Creature Theatre Company is now accepting submissions of full-length plays for the Dr R.J. Rodriguez Emerging Playwrights' Contest.
Playhouse Creatures Theatre is dedicated to the past, present and the future of American Theater. We take great pride in our commitment to new works and this is our tenth reading/ reading series and we have given voice to over thirty new works!
The winner of the Dr R.J. Rodriguez Emerging Playwrights' Contest will be selected by a team of PCTC readers, including Naomi Wallace, Emily Mann and Betty Shamieh. The winner will receive a $500 Prize, as well as a rehearsed equity staged reading in NYC. Second place is a $100 and third place is a $50 award.
Guidelines for contest Submission:
There is a $35 submission Fee that can be paid through our pay pal account.

Please provide proof of payment with submission. Either a receipt or screenshot may be attached.
All submissions must include proof of payment, synopsis, production history, and full-length script. And be emailed to PCTCsubmission2018@gmail.com
Deadline for Submission is June 31st and the winners will be announced at end of August.
Readings will be scheduled for October 2018
