No nos merecemos soñar at Teatro LATEA

Award-winning Spanish theatre company Los Teloneros makes its New York debut with No nos merecemos soñar, a contemporary tragicomedy written and directed by Rafael Ponce.

Five strangers come together for a night of songs and drinks. As the evening unfolds, the cracks begin to show: abandoned dreams, broken promises, disappointments and the lives that might have been.

Blending humor, irony and absurdity, the play explores the distance between the lives we imagined and the lives we ultimately inhabit — and the stubborn human need to keep dreaming.

Following four awards in Spain, the Valencia-based company brings the production to LATEA Theatre on Manhattan’s Lower East Side for four performances, October 28–30, 2026.
