New York Cares Presents Brews & Views, a Fundraiser on Governors Island Benefitting the Stand with Students Campaign at Liggett Terrace at Threes Brewing

New York Cares, the city’s largest volunteer organization, will host the second annual Brews & Views fundraiser on Sunday, September 14th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Threes Brewing, located at 517 Clayton Road on Governors Island. Proceeds will benefit the Stand with Students campaign, which provides public school students with academic, social-emotional, and supplemental programs that address learning gaps and historic inequities.

Join New York Cares for an unforgettable afternoon where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the city’s skyline, craft beers and soft drinks by Brooklyn's Threes Brewing, and picnic games while supporting New York Cares' educational programming. Afterward, you’re welcome to explore the hidden gems of Governors Island. Participants can choose from two ticket options:

·       The View ticket, a $40 donation to Stand with Students, which includes two craft beers or soft drinks

·       The Brewer, a $55 donation, which includes unlimited craft beer and soft drinks

This year’s Stand with Students campaign aims to raise $400,000 to support the city’s schools and students and fill nearly 20,000 backpacks with essential school supplies for the upcoming school year. All donations made during the Stand with Students campaign will support the hundreds of year-round projects that New York Cares manages. These include academic tutoring, college preparation, and other education programs in areas like fitness, art, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) to help students and families thrive.
