Monday Night PlayGround at PlayGround

Each month, from October through March, PlayGround-NY announces a topic and invites N.Y.’s best new dramatists to write and submit original ten-page plays. The best six of these plays are presented as staged readings live in-person at Playwrights Horizons (416 W 42nd St) and simulcast on the fourth Monday of the month, featuring some of N.Y.’s best directors and actors.

Join us on October 26 at 7pm for new first-person solo pieces inspired by historical figures who contributed to the making of America over the past 250 years: those who helped dream it, build it, and/or lead it. Discover previously untold stories that deserve to be shared. Tickets are admission-free and must be reserved in advance, with suggested donation $10-$30.
