Loretta Thomas' Moving Visions at Mark O'Donnell Theater

Loretta Thomas' Moving Visions Dance celebrates International Women's Day (March 8th) with a program of all female choreographers and dancers entitled "The Widening Gyre."   Special  guest artist Catherine Gallant will appear in a suite of Isadora Duncan dances to Chopin and Scriabin, played live by pianist Nathaniel Lanasa.   Thomas will present her work in two world premieres: "The Widening Gyre," a reflection of the state of conflict in our country at this time; and "Stomping Ground," a joyous celebration using country dances as inspiration.
